On Aug 18, 1996, there was a Panel Discussion on the topic 'How Cricket Players from Maharashtra will Play Test Cricket' for which Dr. Samprasad Vinod was invited. The chairman and chief guest of the program were Chandu Borde and Madhu Rege respectively. Raju Bhalekar and Milind Gunjal participated in the Panel Discussion. At the end Dr. Samprasad Vinod was offered a bouquet and felicitated.
