Dr Vinod participated in 'Vasant Vyakhayanamala' series of lectures organised by the Tilak Smarak Organisation in Wai, Satara. Dr Vinod was the main speaker at the session held on 17th May and his topic was 'Yoga and Spiritual Health'. This event was held at Ganpati Ghat in Wai from 7pm to 9 pm and was attended by 900 people. It was oroganised in memory of Dr. Digambar Baburao Umrani and Dr Udhhav Digambar Umrani and was presided over by senior surgeon Dr. Jayghosh Kaddu. The senior reporter and head of Janata Shikshan Sanstha Wai Shri Anil Joshi introduced Dr. Vinod to the audience. Yoga Sadhaks Prashant Sarode and Dhananjay Sharma accompanied Dr. Vinod.

An article by Dr Vinod entitled "Programming Self for performance" was published in the Summer 2008 Issue of YoagTherapy Ireland. It was prominently displayed on the cover of the issue.
