Shreemati Sharadatai Hirlekar conducted a camp on 'Swanand Sahayoga Sadhana' for the participants of 'Dnayaneshwari Abhyas Mandal' in the month September and October. Five ladies participated in this camp.

Ms Madhavi Damodare who is a ex-student of 'Personality Development Programme' organized a similar camp in Phalatan on Aug 17 and Aug 18, 1996. Prasad Shirgaonkar guided the student

Mr. Avinash Kale who is an experienced and enthusiastic volunteer of the MVRF has taken initiative to start 'Swanand Sahayoga Sadhana' class at 'Yerwada Prison Press' from Jan 02, 1996. On this occasion, Mr. Mohan Chavan (Junior Associate Manager), Dhanajirao Choudhury (Deputy Inspector General Prison), Mr. Padvi (Labour Welfare Officer) Mr. Vijay Patil (Presses Federation), Mr. Ashokrao Shinde (Secretary Employee Federation), Mr. Vaikar, Mr. Barkade and Mr. Dharma Shinde were present.the first batch of 25 persons has been already completed. The second batch of 7 persons has now started.   

On Jul 21, 1996, the passed out student of the MVRF Chandrakant Gaddam was felicitated by Padmashali Samaj for his appointment as a magistrate at Ratnagiri. Dr. Samprasad Vinod in his speech praised and congratulated Gaddam and gave his hearty congratulations for the future career.

Between Oct 28 - Nov 02, 1996, a training programme 'Yoga for Academic Excellence' was organized by Prasad Shirgaonkar, a voluntary worker of the MVRF. The second batch was conducted between Nov 4 - Nov 9, 1996. 

On Oct 05, 1996, Pune based 'Sadachar Probodhini' (Institute to Promote Moral Conduct) organized a 'Sant Sahitya Sammelan'. A conference was held during the event on 'Sant Sahityakadun Samajprabodhanakade' (From the Sacred Literature of Saints to Social Reforms) in which Dr. P. N. Kalbhor participated as the representative of the institute. There were around 200 people present during the function. Among the people who were present, there were representatives from Dnyana Prabodhini, Swarupwardhini, Warkari Mahamandal, Rotary Club, Lions club.

In the daily Sakal dated Jun 03, 1996, an article 'Vyaktitva-Afat Kshmatechi Alibabachi Guha (Personality - A Limitless Treasure Trove of Alibaba ) by Prasad Shirgaonkar who is an ex-student of MVRF got published.

For the sadhakas who come to MVRF for learning yoga and who do not understand Marathi, an English translation project was completed this year. Shamsundar Bapat who is a disciple of Dr. Samprasad Vinod and a volunteer of MVRF translated into English the literature of Dr. Samprasad Vinod and Dr. Mrs. Rujuta Vinod, their articles on yoga, a brief introduction of Maharshi Vinod and dietary guidelines.

In September, Education Committee, Pune Municipal Corporation, had arranged Yogasana and Suryanamaskar contests. On Sept 20, 2000, contest for Yerwada Region was arranged at Lokmanya Tilak Vidyalaya, Ramwadi. For this programme, the yoga trainer of MVRF, Avinash Kale was invited as an examiner. Beginning of this contest was marked by lighting of lamp by Avinash Kale. In this contest, 6 teams from 4 schools participated. there was a spontaneous and enthusiastic participation by the girls. In the end Avinash Kale gave guidance to all those who were present. 

(Institute to Promote Moral Conduct) a Pune based institute had arranged a 'Sant Sahitya Sammelan' (Conference on Literature Written by Saints from Middle Ages ) between 23-24 Sept 2000. As a representative of MVRF, Avinash Kale made a speech in the session 'Anande Bharin Tinhi Lok' (Let Us Fill the World with Joy) before the audience of 150 people. Other than Avinash twelve other speakers made speeches in this programme which was arranged by  Dr. Dnyaneshwar Tandale.
